Directions
T-Print™ Bright White is a water-based pigment inkjet ink designed exclusively for EPSON® based print head inkjet-to-garment machines. This ink must be printed on a garment or fabric that has been pretreated either with T-Print™ Pretreat LIGHT (light or pastel colored fabric) or T-Print™ Pretreat DARK (dark colored 100% cotton fabric). If you want a very dull, faint print on a dark garment you can omit the pretreatment step. This ink will not work on dark
colored 50/50 or 100% polyester garments.
CARE: GENTLY AGITATE BULK INK SYSTEM BOTTLE PERIODICALLY AND BEFORE USE. This ink has been specially formulated to have less settling than other brands but over long periods settling can occur in the ink system or in the ink lines. This can be corrected by slightly agitating the ink on a daily basis and performing a head cleaning cycle one to two times per day. If the printer is not in use for an
extended period of time, additional head cleanings will be required and possibly a Power Cleaning.
WARNING: DO NOT let the print head brush across a pretreated garment. This may permanently clog the printing head.
CURING: If cured properly prints will be very washfast. Use a standard heat transfer press set with light pressure and cure printed garments for 180 seconds at 330°F (166°C). If excess humidity is present or if garments are damp cure for 240 seconds. During the final cure process use either a Teflon cover sheet or silicone treated baking pan liner to keep the ink from getting on the heating element. Do NOT use these items to dry pretreatment (see Washability). If using a conveyor textile dryer you MUST achieve these times and temperatures. Always do wash tests and verify your drying temperature.
RISK: Harmful if swallowed.
WASHABILITY: Wash garments inside out in cold water and use a delicate or low heat dryer setting. Poor washability on dark shirts can be caused by too much pretreatment or from drying the pretreatment (prior to printing) using a slick Teflon sheet or silicone treated baking pan liner. The slick surface may not allow the ink to adhere properly. For best results use a non-silicone treated pan liner on top of the garment when drying the pretreatment - prior to printing. Read and follow the directions on the container of
T-Print™ Pretreat for the best results.
CLEANING: This ink is waterbased and can be cleaned up using water.
STORAGE: Keep ink tightly capped in a 50-100°F (19-38° C) area. DO NOT FREEZE. Gently rotate bottle every few days to prevent possible minor settling of pigment.
DISPOSAL: Dispose of in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
WARRANTY: There is no warranty or implication of a warranty on this product. Sellers only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of product deemed to be defective. The degree of white ink print brightness is a product of proper pretreatment, the quality of the printing machine (all nozzles firing), correct print resolution, and number of head passes, etc. Wash tests must be performed and user must determine the suitability of this product for commercial application.
